FAQ
How should we dress for our family session?
You should dress in whatever you feel the best in. Trying to coordinate (not completely match) everyone who will be in the photos is normally a good idea. Try to limit a pattern to one person, stay away from stark white and neons. Also, if you have a room in mind to display the photos, try to coordinate the colors with the room. Consider the natural background, too. If the trees are green, you will blend in with them if you are wearing green, etc.
What’s the best time of day to have an outdoor session?
The "golden hour" is considered 1-2 hours after sunrise and 1-2 hours prior to sunset. These are the times of day that the sun casts a golden glow and shadows are shorter.
How should my athlete dress for their powder shoot?
Bright colors or uniforms work well. Solid black may blend in with the background, so avoiding that would be good. If they will be jumping/flipping, wearing appropriate comfortable clothing would be best. These shoots are done outside, so dressing for the weather is important.
What is the best time of day/year for a powder shoot?
Powder shoots are done outside most of the time, so we need to work around the weather. Shooting around "golden hour" (within 2 hours of sunrise/sunset) is best so that the sun isn't at its strongest is ideal.
How many family members can participate in a family session?
We can accommodate up to 5-6 family members at a typical family session.
